We were part of Fourways Community Church under the incredible leadership of its elders, and about two years ago, during a visit to Europe, we felt God gently nudging us to come here and be a light. At first, we were reluctant to leave South Africa, we had an amazing church, a deep community, and a comfortable life. But Jesus was patient with us, and through prayer, conviction, and the guidance of our church leadership, we stepped out in faith and moved our family over 8,000 km.

Initially, Padova was only meant to be a stopover, not a place to settle. But something began to change in our hearts. As we looked around, we felt a deep burden for a genuine community of believers - people who truly love Jesus and love one another, and who do life together in a real and meaningful way. After much searching and prayer, we felt Jesus calling us to stay in Padova and begin gathering His people into that kind of community.

We hope Gather Community Church will be a place where people can authentically do life together and explore all that Jesus has for them- a place that truly loves Jesus and loves His people.
